Jacking up in the close

Around 2pm July 16th 2010 the banging of the front close door, draw my attention to see a guy all dressed in black while carrying a plastic back in his right hand. Along with a black hold all strapped too his back & now heading down the street. What gave this fucker away he was a junkie, was the fact his right jacket slave was rolled up too his elbow. Like he'd just jacked up in the close and was too stone to remember to pull it down.

I checked the landing stairs half expecting to find the smell of smoke lingering in the air. But instead I found a brass petrol lighter, a ripped open alcohol prep pad wipe, with the wipe smeared with blood discarded on the steps.

So once again the drug crime in my street is rife and relentless so fuck it, I called the cops. I've said before, there are children in my close and this garbage was lying on the steps was right next too their home. Where any child could have used the lighter and harmed themselves or others. Or maybe they would have picked up the blood smeared wipe in the attempt to set it a light. Burnt their hand and like everyone on the planet after burning their fingers. Sucked on the burn along with the blood on their fingers and bang! Hepatises or worse.

Well three police officers soon came out after I called too complain. They took the brass lighter away and one of the three was kind enough to remove the blood stained wipe, discharging it into the wheelie bins out the back door. But not first using his plastic medical glove too do so unlike what you or I carry around with us and much less a child.

So once again the lack of proper doors or locks that won't close properly in our case. Was to blame as another waster entered with one thought in mind Jacking up in the close. Which we all agreed on, so I made sure the door was properly shut as they left.

So the weekends kicked of early today and though the life of an addict is 24/7. Anytime is jacking time for these people and anywhere is party time. Funny thing, I just got a Wendy Alexander council letter today. Outlining the on goings & complaints many have reported and mine will add too that list no doubt.

Hopefully many others will start to report these and all types of incidences and a stop this government from cutting their police recruitment drive. Though some crimes are being reported as going down. Crime in general is on the rise and the last thing wee need an excuse from government to cut bobbies on the beat, all for the lack of unreported crimes right under your nose..
